Purpose Statements
Why do we exist?
Our Church exists to worship God and to impact our culture and the various
cultures of the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ by reflecting His life and
Spirit through our lives.
Mission is why we exist!! The church of Jesus Christ is on Mission; every
disciple is a missionary. “We are the called out ones”
Jesus’ mandate to the church covers everyone: “You will be my witnesses” the
plural “you,” not the singular.
Jesus is calling us to become fishers of Men makes us a commissioned
community. At the same time, we discover that it is community that is
commissioned.
We seek to be recognized as the Thessalonian Church was by Paul. They
became a model to the region around them. 1 Thessalonians 1:3-10
1 Thess. 1:3
“We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by
faith, your labor prompted by love and your endurance inspired by hope in our
